Microsoft Copilot debuts Android app
Without pomp or widespread attention, Microsoft discreetly unveiled a fresh Copilot app for Android users. Unearthed by @technosarusrex on X (previously known as Twitter), the app is presently downloadable from the Google Play Store. Its listing indicates that it made its debut in the marketplace approximately a week ago, offering users a novel means to engage with the AI-driven assistant and its functionalities.
The latest Copilot app for Android isn’t an entirely novel creation. On first glance, its resemblance to the Bing Chat app is striking, maintaining access to the same chat functionalities. Moreover, Copilot seamlessly integrates with the Microsoft Edge browser for Android, SwiftKey, Skype, and other platforms.
Loaded with a plethora of features that mirror those found on the desktop version, Copilot for Android allows users to toggle between light and dark themes. Its capabilities encompass asking intricate queries, generating images via DALL-E 3, composing documents or emails, or engaging in casual conversations on any topic. Additionally, the app offers the flexibility to enable or disable the recently introduced GPT-4.
