Fortnite Reload new mode
New Map, New Mode! Welcome to Fortnite Reload new mode – an action-packed Battle Royale experience featuring classic weapons, locations, and vibes for you and your squad. Reload goes live on Saturday, June 22, shortly after 2 PM ET.
In Fortnite Reload, squads can reboot as long as one team member remains active. This 40-player mode features a tighter map with familiar locations like Tilted Towers and Retail Row. If your entire team is eliminated, it’s Game Over! Whether you play Battle Royale or Zero Build, the last squad standing wins.
LOCKED AND (RE)LOADED
When an automatic reboot is imminent, it can be advantageous to pursue aggressive plays, as demonstrated by this Fill or No Fill Squads scenario. A lone squaddie must be alert if the rest of the team is out, as their survival will determine whether they continue in the game! This is how it operates:
- The player’s own reboot timer begins after they are eliminated. When the timer goes off, the player reboots!
- Later in the game, restart timers start at 30 seconds and go up to 40 seconds.
- By taking down an opponent, eliminating one, and erasing an opponent’s squad, remaining teammates can shorten the reboot timer by two, four, and ten seconds, respectively.
- Upon being downed, players have the option to immediately begin their reboot timer instead of waiting for a revive.
- Reboots will cease towards the end of the game, therefore lost teammates won’t reappear.
A player you destroy will drop shotgun shells, medium, light, and shield potions, as well as fifty of each building material (for Build only). Victory Crowns are still obtainable. Yes, there will be a ton of excitement and crazy activities.
Regarding the prizes, there are three starter quests in Fortnite Reload that award 20,000 XP each. Completing six of them will grant you the Pool Cubes Wrap, nine will grant you the NaNa Bath Back Bling, and three more will unlock the Digital Dogfight Contrail. And the Rezzbrella Glider is a prize for players who win a Victory Royale.
Yes, you may play Fortnite Reload in both Battle Royale and Zero Build modes. Its goal is to provide players with a lot more traditional Fortnite experience without the use of vehicles.
This is a significant weekend for Fortnite since it also marks the debut of Metallica: Fuel. Fire. Fury, an interactive musical event that will honor the music of the legendary rock band and include six of their songs.
